From Dublin, Ireland! This band features members of Starters, so if you like that band, you will definitely like Time Spent. They have a very emo vibe to their music as well, and I know a ton of you are into that. You can pre-order their cassette tape on Guys With Beards Records BigCartel store, and stream all of their debut release on Bandcamp.

From Canton, MI. If you like Secret Lives Of The Freemasons, The Forecast, mixed with Jimmy Eat World and The Wonder Years, you’ll like Good Luck Varsity. In a world where every band is trying to jump on the more “indie” pop-punk/melodic hardcore bandwagon, it’s nice to come across something that makes me nostalgic for 2006. Check this band out now if you know what’s good for you.
SUGGESTION: Acres Of Lions
From Victoria, BC. I’ve had the opportunity to see these guys many times before, and they’re incredible. They’re more indie/pop-rock/pop-punk, and if you like The Get Up Kids, Jimmy Eat World and Saves The Day, you’ll like Acres Of Lions.
SUGGESTION: Real Friends
From Chicago, IL. I’m probably behind on posting about this band.. I’ve seen their name floating around the internet a bunch and I thought that I would finally give them a listen, and I am so glad I did. This band is sick. If you like every major pop-punk band out there right now (Fireworks, The Wonder Years, Man Overboard, etc), you’ll like Real Friends. This band brings it.
SUGGESTION: A Greater State
From Latrobe, PA. If you like more pop in your pop-punk, then you’ll be into A Greater State. They kind of remind me a little bit of a lovechild made between New Found Glory, I Call Fives and Angels & Airwaves. Give them a listen.
